Little Greenie Curlytoe is a kind, old witch who lives deep in the forest. Greenie loves Halloween and dreams of leading the coven of witches across the midnight sky on this magical and spooky night; however, only the winner of the best witch’s brew is granted this top honor.
Greenie knows the key to the perfect brew is Harlow: the ugliest and fattest toad around. Looking everywhere for the delicious toad, Greenie chants out her calls in her singsong voice, but the warty toad is always one step ahead of her, delighting in their hide-and-seek game. One day when Greenie doesn’t come out to search for Harlow, the toad knows something is wrong and risks himself to save her and an unlikely friendship is born that is worth more than any blue ribbon.
Beautiful jewel-toned illustrations bring alive a fun and heartwarming text with lyrical repetitions that invite readers to chime along. A wonderfully unique Halloween offering for families and educators of young children that promotes kindness and friendship.

About the Author
Carol A. Wulff (Duncan) was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. As a child, she and her siblings would play outside, using their vivid imaginations to create a magical world around them.
One of her fondest memories was gathering branches to decorate their front porch for Halloween. Witches, bats, skeletons, and pumpkins were handmade from colorful paper and hung in all the windows. It was a simpler time filled with love and adventure!
Today, Carol lives with her husband in the western North Carolina mountains - a place where the fog often blows through the valley. This mystical setting is the perfect inspiration for many of her stories.
